Needs Must Project

We have created a board game which presents Nottingham city. " Nottinfinity" gives the opportunity to the players to experience what we have experienced through this project

During the “Need’s Must” project we all had the chance to get to know one another, to exchange ideas and visit more than five points in the city.

It is great that from different disciplines we end up with the same needs. We all have in common the need of inspiration and creativity. Even if we do totally different courses we all need something to inspire us. We all visited the same places but at the same time experienced something personal.

Through this project I believe that I have achieved my personal aims, which are to experience the collaboration with the people of my group, to share my thoughts and opinions, to exchange ideas and become wide open to ideas and see how the boundaries between the different courses fade away.

My intention this year is to collect ideas and find inspiration from the natural and cultural sites of Nottingham for the development of my project. Also by getting to know each other, we had the chance to talk a bit about our work and what we are thinking to do this year, so if we want to collaborate in the future it was a great opportunity to make some contacts.

As an Art Director I would like to collaborate with photographers and fashion designers and I had the chance to see the aims of my objectives from different aspects. I strongly believe that my course is related to the teamwork and it is very important to find the perfect members of the team in order to present the outcome that I expect.

At the moment I feel more confident because of my fellow students. We know that we are going to work on different projects this year but it’s great to know that we can support each other and have the chance to exchange thoughts and ideas.
