Design Project Process (Week2)

Gimme Five!
Feedback from 2 students

What's the Big idea?

A lot of investigation into textures and shapes utilized in Scandinavian furniture. Both the patterns and shapes are very unique to Scandinavia so this has rubbed of in the designs

Who do you think you are talking to?

The audience is very style conscious so form and texture is very important here. A relevant textile pattern could be key to people recognizing the design as Scandinavian orientated.

What's the plan man?

I can see the though process clearly in that Constantina has focused on the furniture and textiles themselves to generate sources of inspiration. The style of the furniture is so unique I can see why she has done this as it's vary recognizable as Scandinavian.

Has time been used ,or just spent?

There is a lot of relevance and direction in Constantina's research and development, she has a very clear heading in that she is keen to use textures as part of the logo to portray the sense of quality in her design

Don't shoot the messenger.

To develop application of different shapes and patterns from her research and turn them into possible logo ideas.
